Uriah's Guide to Knight Building

Uriah of Gelderland's Guide to Knight Building.

Choose your class of Knight, Feudal, Military Order or Freelancer Knight.
I choose a Feudal Knight
Stats block:
Str 0, Alg 0, Cha 0, Arc 0, Mov 4, Vit 8.
CHG 1, SUS 1, CTR 1, DEF 1, JST 1, ARMS -

Choose Abilities.
Each knight may spend 25 points on abilities between:

Combat skills and abilities
Jousting skills
Archery skills

Each class of knight can choose different abilities and I can't list them all, just give the example of my own character knight.

For Lord Farthingdale of Waldridge I spent 10 points on JST +1,
and 15 points on SUS +1.

His primary weapon is an arming sword.
CHG 1, SUS 2, CTR 1, DEF 0.

For Armour I chose simple plate
VIT +1, ARM +2.

Lord F's Horse is from a choice of: Destrier, Palfrey, Courser, or Rouncey.  With the Destrier too slow and the others too unstable I opt for the Palfrey.  Stability +2, Movement 7, Steady.

The lances are either light, standard or heavy.  Lord F chooses standard, a good balance in his bid to be an exceptional jouster.
Str +1, JST +2.

For bow I choose a standard length bow.  Lord F won't win many archery competitions anyway.

Lord Farthingdale of Waldridge profile now reads:

Str 1, Alg 0, Cha 0, Arc 0, Mov 4, Vit 9.
CHG 1, SUS 2, CTR 1, DEF 1, JST 2, ARM 2.
Sword
CHG 1, SUS 2, CTR 1, DEF 0
Lance
CHG 3, SUS 0, CTR 0, DEF 0, JST 2

And there you have it, a Knight, with a focus on Jousting, but also no slouch with a sword on Foot.  In sustained combat on Foot his dice pool is four, or mounted combat charging also four, and with that JST of 4 he is just as dangerous in the Joust.
But you are probably safe if he tries to use a bow!
